I couldn't sleep there. The room had no window, and nothing worked. At 11 p.m., someone knocked on my door asking for 10 RM in tax, even though I'd already paid through Agoda. I told him, but he still insisted. Don't stay here.

Room No. 6 on Level 1 had this view. Ban Cheong has its own quiet charm, and if you like older hotels right in town, you might enjoy it.

For 13 euros, we got a room for two with a private bathroom, and the cleanliness, equipment, and service felt fair for the price. When the receptionist wasn't around, we could call and sort out what we needed.

I left after just five minutes and switched hotels, but still couldn't get a refund. The room was tiny and old, the bed looked old and dirty, and the aircon didn't cool. There was a strong smoke smell as soon as I opened the door. I was so disappointed, especially since Booking showed a 7.9 score. How did it get that high? 😣
