Agoda shifted my dates automatically just before payment. I cancelled as soon as I'd paid, and the listing said cancellation was free. Three days later, Agoda replied that the hotel had refused the cancellation, or hadn't responded, and I was charged in full for a room I never used. Fix your reservation process so you don't take people's money like this.

The room was nice, but there's no lift, so you'll have to carry your bags up the stairs.

We came to Perlis as a large group and booked eight rooms. The rooms were tidy, and the staff were very helpful. It's good value for the money. There isn't a lift, and the stairs are steep, so if you're travelling with an elderly person, book a ground-floor room.

There are eateries nearby, which is handy when you're hungry, and I appreciated the water dispenser outside. The place is basic but clean, though there's no lift. The main road stays busy late into the night, so light sleepers should ask for a room that doesn't face it. 😁
