D’Spark Hotel @ Port Klang

The staff were friendly, but maintenance is below zero. Black mold covered the room, and the smell was so bad it was hard to breathe at night. I only stayed because I'd booked online and they wouldn't refund me.

The hotel was filthy and looked nothing like the photos. We stayed only because it was RM50, and I wish I'd thought to make a police report earlier. At 9am, reception knocked and said it was housekeeping. I ignored it at first because it was so early, but the knocking started again, so I opened the door. A few Indians outside said they were looking for an Indian girl. They then went to every door, making a lot of noise. I went downstairs and saw their whole family in the hotel looking for their sister. Ten minutes after we went back to our room, they knocked again. I opened the door and they said they'd got the wrong one. I was furious that they were invading the privacy of guests who had paid to stay there. I asked why they didn't make a police report, or get reception to check the check-in records or CCTV, instead of bothering other guests. Both of them got angry and wanted to fight me. The man nearly punched me in the face. Worst stay ever.

I paid RM88 for a Queen Deluxe Room at D Spark Hotel, Port Klang, but it looked nothing like the picture. The room was dirty, the air conditioning wasn't cool, the water heater had no hot water, and there was a spider in the corner. At checkout, there was no water at all in the bathroom, and nobody was at the front desk, just a number to call. The service was very poor. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend.

The room was sticky and smelled awful, and there was even a cockroach waiting to greet us. Staff were friendly, but unprofessional. They talked loudly in the lobby late at night and played videos at full volume. If staying in a relative's old, dirty house sounds good to you, go ahead.
