For the budget, it was reasonably decent, and the air conditioning worked well. The bus terminal is right across the road, with lots of food shops nearby, including a Malay stall there that stays open 24 hours. Cleanliness wasn’t tip-top, though. The room had a persistent bad smell, the bed and pillows seemed old, and the toilet door didn’t work properly. There was a strange window toward the bed with a translucent curtain, water was leaking near the heater, and no soap or toothbrush was supplied.

There are plenty of restaurants and a McD near Setia Alam mall, though I found the food at all the restaurants poor-tasting. This budget hotel is conveniently located near NIH, and having ground-floor rooms is helpful for older guests. The room came with a queen bed, TV, Wi-Fi and hot water. It felt crowded, with little space for prayer, and the Wi-Fi password was only available through QR codes.
