OYO 90486 Station Hotel

The receptionist’s service was so-so. They talked on the phone the whole time while we waited 20 minutes to check in, even though the previous guest hadn’t returned the room key. The hotel is cheap and close to everything, but I’ve never seen such a dirty place in all my years of travel. When we arrived, there was hair and debris all over the bedding, floor, and table, rubbish still on the bench, and a cloth left hanging in the wardrobe, probably from the last guest. The air conditioning control had no case and couldn’t be adjusted, only switched on or off. With it on, the room was too cold; with it off, too hot. It was a miserable stay. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, even my worst enemy.

The toilet was filthy, like a public restroom, and the flush didn’t work. There were mosquitoes in the room and no amenities provided. If you’ve already paid online, don’t let the receptionist talk you into paying again. Only pay the deposit, not any extra charge. They’re cheating you. I hope the hotel improves its services, even though it’s a budget hotel. I can’t recommend staying here. The choice is yours.

The location and convenience are why I’m giving it two stars. The room is spacious and very suitable for ONS. The bathroom was clean, and the toilet and shower were good, though the sink drained slowly. The bed smelled a bit, maybe because the linen wasn’t clean or wasn’t changed often. The pillow was so bad and smelly that I had to put my clothes on it to sleep. There’s no lift to the third floor, so it’s better to ask for a lower room. The receptionists are foreigners (Bangladeshis). Think twice or three times before booking in future.

The staff were drinking alcohol, and they didn’t seem to know how to speak to or serve guests. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen.
