Hotel Sunsurya

The room was small and felt a bit stressful, but it was comfortable. Basic facilities were there. The lift makes extra noise every time it’s used, and there’s only one socket, already taken by the TV. Weekend parking is free, though you have to pass through a toll to get to the location.

It felt newly renovated and was unbelievably clean and comfortable. Even the back of the TV wasn’t dusty. The aircon smelled nice, and the hotel hallway had a clean feel and smell too. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The rooms were very clean, the toilet was clean too, and the aircon worked well. The hotel is close to Klang, Bukit Raja and Setia Alam. There’s an elevator, a hot water dispenser on the ground floor, and plenty of parking nearby. But even the deluxe room felt cramped. There’s just one plug in the room, no cabinet and only a basic hanger. The bed is so spongy it feels like a waterbed. The Android box offers YouTube and Netflix, though its connection cuts in and out. Wi-Fi is only so-so. There’s no kettle or flask, just two small bottles of drinking water. In the toilet, there was no shower gel, only two small soaps, and nowhere to hang a towel or clothes. A panel beside the elevator makes a very loud noise, disturbing if you’re in a nearby room, especially when trying to sleep. I hope management can improve the basic amenities, including adding a kettle, more hangers and extra plug points.

The TV was the highlight for me: they provide an Android box for YouTube and Netflix with your own account. The Wi-Fi was great, though sometimes the box disconnected and I had to reconnect it repeatedly. Its sensor hole should be bigger too, because the remote was hard to detect. The bed was very comfortable, and the hot shower was satisfying. There’s an elevator behind the front desk. A great hotel overall.
