I was due to stay for two nights, from 7/7/22 to 9/7/22, but cancelled on 4/7/22 before checking in. I’d booked through booking.com and was only trying to sort out the reservation. The property listed two payment options, a RM100 deposit or full payment for both nights. After I paid the deposit, they asked me to pay the full amount and said the deposit wouldn’t be returned if I cancelled. They told me cancelling was fine, but I’d lose the deposit and could only change the dates instead. Please think carefully before booking here. Thanks for the “great” service.

I arrived with a booking platform confirmation and my card details already entered, but the hotel said there was no reservation and demanded advance payment. Avoid this ESCOTT at all cost. It was incredibly irresponsible.

In the room I had, the bed was so thin I could feel the springs. The paint was peeling, the microwave and water heater were broken, and the ironing board was dirty. I also had a hard time getting my denture back, even though I hadn't deliberately left it there.

The room and toilet were okay, but the air conditioning wouldn't turn on. The host also kept my deposit.

They won't return the deposit, and they don't answer messages or phone calls. Please don't book with this host.
