Extreme Boutique Hotel

This place can be hit or miss, so you need some luck. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, credit to them. Our first night in the family suit was wonderful. It was newly renovated and clean, with a huge room, mini kitchenette, dining table, and microwave. The only drawback was the tiny wall-mounted water heater, which took forever to shower with. The next night, we had to move because the first room wasn’t available. The twin room was awful, even though it had also been renovated recently. It was extremely dirty. The pillow was so worn that it was paper thin and lumpy, the old bed linen smelled, and a broken bidet sprayed water over the bathroom mat. There was mould on the ceiling.

The room size was decent, but I would never come back. The cleanliness was far below standard, even though the price was fairly cheap. I booked a room with a window, but the one we got had none. When I asked, the receptionist said rooms with and without windows cost the same. That completely misses the point 😒. I booked a specific room type, and it should have been the one we received. Worst of all, there was fungal or mushroom growth in the corner of the wall. We were horrified and complained to the receptionist, who just sent someone to remove it and didn’t apologize. The toilet also had no ventilation, so every time we opened the door, a terrible stench filled the room. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Our room had been well renovated, and we saw that they were continuing to upgrade more rooms. The lady boss was very friendly and generous in arranging a room for my family of three. The staff were warm and welcoming too. We had a great stay, and I’ll definitely choose this hotel again on our next trip.

The rooms were clean, and mineral water was provided. The lobby was nice, and the hotel gave us complimentary tea and coffee. Decent for the price we paid. One thing to improve: the lift gets so hot every time we use it. It needs better ventilation.
