I was here for work and liked how quiet the neighbourhood was. The room was spotless, and the linens looked freshly changed each day. There’s a cafe outside the homestay for dinner, plus a kitchen outside and a heater provided by the property.

We ended up happy with the room and would stay again soon. The staff were friendly and really helpful, and the parking area is spacious. Our room was inside the building, so there was no view, which was fine with me. If you want to catch the sunrise, ask for an upstairs room. The booking messages were confusing, though. I first asked for a twin room, but was told it was full, so they offered a queen room and I agreed. When we arrived, they said there was no queen room left, only a twin. I accepted, though I was a bit disappointed at first. The helpful staff member changed how I felt about it. The room was clean and tidy, and had both a fan and air conditioning. The bathroom was clean too, apart from a stain on the lower part of the toilet bowl, which I could manage myself. It’s close to the main road. Thank you, DH Residence Staff.

Families and friends can use this as a place to spend time together if they’re planning activities around Kota Belud. It’s also a nice spot for a one-night stop when you need a break during your travels.

We booked a family room for the night and found it really nice. The rooms and toilets were very clean.
