I paid RM100 per night, and even a last-minute booking was available. The location is within walking distance of the airport, so it works well if you're waiting for a flight or have just landed. The front desk staff were polite, helpful, and welcoming, and the service was very good. The place is comfortable and accommodating for a short stay. I did notice some room issues, but since I was only there briefly, I didn't mention them to staff. They do have a feedback form if you want to leave comments.

At RM110, the price is good, though this isn't a luxury place. It's an old OYO, if that gives you an idea. My room had coffee, tea, water, air conditioning, and a TV, and it was very clean. The big plus is the location, right across from the airport, an easy walk even with fairly heavy backpacks.

We booked a Superior Suites room through Agoda for one night. It was spacious and clean, including the toilet, and faced the main street and airport. The receptionist and staff were very helpful, and everything was good. Kota Bharu Airport is very close, as are various food stalls and shops. A few meters away, there's a stall with tasty, cheap dinner like mee celup, mee goreng, and nasi goreng. Recommended.

The location and staff are the only things that kept this from being a one-star rating. There seem to have been water problems, judging by the old marks on the ceiling, and the air conditioning was awful.
