I loved the view over KB town, especially at night, and there was lots of parking both in the basement and outside. The hotel also has a cafe, a waiting area with a paid massage chair, a kiosk, and a game area. I was surprised to see a lobby monitor showing flight arrivals and departures. Pasar Siti Khadijah and Tambatan Di Raja are right nearby, along with other viral spots, and the staff greet you whenever you pass through the lobby. The room was spacious enough for two, with a clean, comfortable bed and plenty of useful things: an iron and board, water filter, mini fridge, small towel rack, sejadah, desk, two chairs, and TV. The fridge sadly wasn’t cold enough. The hotel is new, but the bathroom could be cleaner. I’d recommend staying here and would definitely come back.

During my recovery, they thoughtfully sent a fruit basket, which meant a lot. I’m sincerely grateful to the whole Ibis Kota Bharu team for their compassion and hospitality, and I’ll always remember their kindness. I’m staying long term at Ibis Kota Bharu. Early in my stay, I became seriously ill with a high fever and vomiting. The Front Office Manager and front office team kept checking on me and offered help with real concern and professionalism. The housekeeping team working on 22 January were especially caring. They regularly asked how I was feeling and changed my bedsheets every day, keeping my room extremely clean. Their friendly, warm care made a very difficult time easier and helped me feel safe, almost like I was at home.

The buffet breakfast had a good selection, and the room service food was tiptop. Thanks for the food vouchers! I travelled with my mom, and because a room was available, the hotel let us check in early after our early arrival from the airport. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, with a water dispenser and an iron, and a hairdryer was available too. Very convenient. Pasar Siti Khadijah is nearby if you feel like shopping, hehe.

We held the Kelantan Photography Association (KELFOTO) General Meeting at IBIS Kota Bharu on January 24, 2026, and everything ran smoothly. The lunch was delicious, and staff were friendly and professional throughout the day. The meeting room was comfortable and set up just right for our discussion. The LCD projector and PA system both worked flawlessly, and they had all the paper and stationery we needed. Arranging the booking was very easy, and the team was helpful in accommodating our requirements beforehand. Full stars for the IBIS Kota Bharu team, congratulations on the excellent service. I highly recommend the venue for professional meetings or events.

Our program went smoothly and as planned, and we had a great experience. Pn.Siti Munirah, the Sales Executive, was friendly and accommodating, and managed to arrange almost everything we requested. The other staff were excellent too. The food was delicious, and they kept refilling it throughout the Hi Tea Buffet. TQ Ibis!!! 👍🏻🥰🎊
