It's next to Pasar Siti Khajidah, with parking available at a reasonable price. The room is spacious, the toilet is good, and the bed and pillows are great. There's a shared area with coffee, a microwave, a fridge and tables for eating.

The room was tidier and cleaner than I expected. The staff were really friendly too. 10/10.

The room was spacious and clean, and the hotel itself is nice. I also liked the refreshment pantry, with free-flow drinks and use of a fridge, which you don't get at every budget hotel. Pasar Besar Siti Khadijah and Parkson Kota Bahru are an easy walk away, and there's a nearby night market too. A few things could be better: the bathroom is very small and not especially clean. Breakfast was supposed to be light, but it didn't come until 9:30, which was much too late for me. The access-card lanyard is thick, so I had to take the card off to open the door.

The people running the hotel made a big difference for us. Mr Muiz and the staff were polite, quick to help, and easy to negotiate with as long as your requests are reasonable. We had a clean, spacious room with just the essentials: a double bed, desk and TV. The lobby felt homely, with a couch, a high table by a big window facing the famous Siti Khadijah Market, and a dining table where bread and coffee or tea are available free at any time. It was lovely to sit there with hot tea and watch the busy street below. The welcome counter is tiny, just about three feet long at the top of the stairs. KB STREET BOUTIQUE HOTEL really added to our Kota Bharu and Kelantan trip, arriving on the 16-hour Jungle train from Johore Bharu on 4-8 Feb 23. We were entirely delighted with the setting. Highly recommended.
