The view was great, and the room was okay, clean, and good enough for a budget hotel. I booked a twin room for four nights, with shared bathrooms. On the second day, nobody made up the room. The hotel and reception are both on the 30th floor. When I first arrived, I had to call and wait for the receptionist to come down and let me through the entrance door and into the lift.

The room was tidy, the bathroom spacious, and the panoramic view of KB from the room was beautiful. Right in the heart of Kota Bharu, so the main attractions are easy to reach. Worth every penny!

The sunrise view was nice, but there were several problems. I didn’t expect to have to climb stairs, so this isn’t suitable for people with disabilities. The verandah was dirty, parking was outside the building, and there was no fridge inside.

There’s a mall right downstairs, and the accommodation felt private and secure. For a budget stay, getting a penthouse in Kota Baru’s tallest building was great.
