I regret booking through agoda without reading the reviews first. I don't understand how they manage this “Homestay management.” The place was filthy and unhygienic, with sticky yellow stains everywhere, and the photos used in the listing were different from the actual place. It felt like maintenance had been ignored. I booked 5d4n, but stayed only 30 minutes before leaving. I messaged them and got no reply.

The room listing showed three single beds, but the third one wasn't set up, so you have to do that yourself. After a long trip, that's exhausting. For rm240/night, I'd choose a hotel with free breakfast and a full set of toiletries. The bathroom was just so-so, with body wash as the only toiletry, and only 250ml(?) drinking water was provided, with no water filter. You have to register at the ibis guard house before going in. It’s easier to collect the key if you go with a partner. Check the wall for your car park number if you're staying at homestay by prestige. I was in B-10-5. The room has WiFi, but it was no use: once connected, the signal dropped to one bar and disappeared.

There's a microwave oven in the apartment, but no electric stove. Towels were provided and never changed during the stay, and there was no room cleaning or coffee and tea. A hotel would be the better option.

The river view from the bedroom window was lovely, and the studio was just the right size for one person. I stayed one night in KB, from 15 to 16 Mar 20. Check-in and checkout were easy to follow and hassle-free. The apartment had a water kettle, ironing board, fridge, cups, plates, and utensils, along with coffee powder, tea bags, and sugar. The bath towels didn't leave lint, and the double or queen bed was comfortable for one. There’s also a gym and swimming pool in the apartment building. I'd recommend it to friends looking for somewhere to stay.
