Ridel Sunset Hotel

The sunset comes straight into the room, which was great, and the aircon was strong and quiet. The hotel is conveniently located, but it smells old, with lots of stains on the carpets and in the toilet. Jetskis and speedboats run downstairs by the river, so it can get noisy, though they don't operate at night. During the day you can hear the clock tower chime every hour, along with the mosque loudspeakers softly in the background.

We could hear blasting loud music downstairs at midnight, which was a major problem. Maybe we were unlucky, but our double sunset view room was quite run down, with paint peeling off the walls and old looking windows and furniture. The location is very good and the service acceptable. For the price and view, I think a one-night stay is fine, but I wouldn't recommend it beyond that. The proprietor should seriously consider renovating and soundproofing the room.

Even though we arrived as walk-ins and checked in early, the staff at RIDEL treated us nicely. The night activities and the river scenery were awesome. We enjoyed the view.

By the KELANTAN River basin near Tambatan Di raja, this is one of the best budget business hotels in KOTA BAHARU KELANTAN. There are plenty of food courts, lots going on at night, and ample seating along the riverbank. Can't wait to come again.
