D'Majestic Premier Suites Kuala Lumpur

The rooftop pool was packed, the water was dirty, and there wasn’t a single free lounge chair. Swimming felt disgusting, like everyone was peeing in the water. The rooms on the 10th floor are awful, especially the ones with a sink in the middle. Check the photos carefully when booking. The room was terribly dirty and didn’t seem to get cleaned at all. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms, the air conditioner smells of vinegar and stench when switched on, and there’s no rug, so wet marks are left all over the floor. The mugs were dirty, the floor was sticky under bare feet, and the windows were covered in fingerprints and palm prints. There wasn’t even a bottle of water. All this for $20 a night! It’d be easier to rent a decent, clean room in a regular hotel for that price. The Majestic has become completely rude with its prices and the service is absolutely lousy. What a disgrace. Don’t come here, it’s like a public toilet 🤮👎

The rooftop view is amazing, and there are plenty of eateries nearby that stay open late. 7-11 and MiX are on the ground floor, with Dia Ji Dumpling across the street. The location is superb. But the moment I stepped into the room, there was a funky sewer smell, apparently from poorly done toilet plumbing. I wouldn’t return because of that smell.

At 23:00, checking in very late with my family and a small child, I was told there was a 200 MYR refundable deposit, CASH ONLY. All the other properties I’d stayed at accepted cards, so this was a first for me. The receptionist was the rudest I’ve ever encountered. I hoped management might find a solution given the late hour, but the staff member said his boss didn’t care and wouldn’t even speak to me. I had Agoda cancel the booking right away and fortunately got my money back. The way D’Majestic Management treated us was deplorable. Their hospitality standards seemed extremely low, and it feels like only a matter of time before the business crumbles. I sincerely hope it does. My advice to travelers is to avoid D’Majestic properties, regardless of whether the properties themselves might be good. The place is run by terrible, rude people.

There’s been no hot water in our bathroom since last night, and it was still cold this morning. Please address the hot water problem in our room.
