Mr. Yasir at the counter was super friendly and helpful. After I told him about the problems, he replaced our electric kettle right away, then adjusted the air-con the next day. I finally got a good night's sleep on the second night, and he changed my poor impression of the hotel into a good one. Well done! For a budget hotel, the room itself was decent, but I can only give it three stars. With no window, it smelled bad and had poor ventilation, and there was no soundproofing. I could hear people walking in the corridor and the voices of guests next door. Cigarette smoke also came into our non-smoking room when inconsiderate guests smoked in the corridor. The kettle wasn't working and the air-conditioning wasn't cold either, though Mr. Yasir helped with both.

The air-conditioning wasn't cool at all. They gave me a portable unit after I asked, but that still didn't make the room cold. The room maintenance needs to be checked regularly to improve the service.

Check-in was very easy, and I had a lovely stay. The appliances worked and the air-conditioning was cold. Setapak Central is right in front, so getting to the mall was easy. 😊

The staff here are friendly and helpful, and they explain things well. I got two pillows with a happy yellow smile on them. Maybe that's why it's called Smile Hotel and not Angry Hotel! They have many branches. I took a course at the Wangsa Maju branch, but my luggage is in Danau Kota, so I come to Danau Kota often. It's comfortable here, with a pantry, washbasin, and hot water. There are lots of Wi-Fi links, and there's one LCD computer here.

‼️This feels like entrapment and malicious. Couples, do not enter. Even if you're a foreigner, they may call the religious police on you and detain you.
