The location is handy, with the market right downstairs, but the room was cramped and not comfortable for the night. There was rubbish under the bed, the door wouldn’t lock, and it was hard to pray in such a tight space. The bathroom was moldy and dirty, and the sheet looked like it hadn’t been changed. It was so badly stained my daughter couldn’t bear to lie on the bed. When we raised the toilet condition with the receptionist, she reacted like, “Oh, really?” I assumed she didn’t know, but after reading the reviews once we checked out, I’m sure she knew and didn’t care.

The location is great if you want to shop at night, and the manager and workers were friendly. We’d booked a family room for five, which wasn’t available at first, but thankfully it was ready when we arrived. The bathroom drain was clogged, though, so we asked to switch rooms. They moved us to a room for four without giving a discount. The stairway to level 1 smelled musty, there were mosquitoes, and a big hole was above the head of the bed. Management should do something about that.
Fine for a quick nap if you’re going to Wakaf Che Yeh, but I wouldn’t stay here for a longer holiday. The room was small and a bit pricey, RM90 for a standard couple room, though OYO brought it down to RM52. No windows, and mosquitoes are just part of the room. There were worms in the toilet and the water pressure was low. The sheets had hair and a drop of blood, so the beds weren’t clean enough. Maybe it’s cleaner than nearby hotels, I don’t know. Anyone know a clean hotel in Kelantan?
We arrived from kuantan at 9 pm, and the receptionist treated us badly. Our booking wasn’t in their system, and they blamed the system. The room felt very poor and unsafe to stay in. The shower was blocked by the toilet bowl and the water came through very slowly, and there were lots of mosquitoes. We checked out the next morning to find another hotel. A bad experience for the family.
The place is very run down and seems to have no maintenance; the water heater didn’t work. I booked through OYO, but on arrival they made me pay extra cash, saying the OYO price was too low. I had no choice and was forced to top up.
