We stayed from 15/10/22 to 16/10/22, and had no water in the room the whole time. The counter didn't answer after 6-7 calls. When we went to reception, the staff member seemed unfriendly, though maybe it was just late and he didn't know what to do. We finally got a reply by WhatsApp. The hotel said a pipe had broken and been fixed, but the tank needed time to fill again. We waited until morning, about 12 hours, and still there was no running water. We checked out early and had to shower somewhere else 🙁

The room was dated, dusty, and had cobwebs, plus a cigarette smell. The hot water and air con worked, and it's opposite mydin. The toilet is so close to the wall that sitting there is difficult. If you're over 180 or obese, you won't fit. It's a little cheaper than nearby places, though in kelantan even cheap accommodation costs a bit more than in kl. I later found out where the smoke was coming from: the attendant at the counter was smoking, and fresh smoke drifted into the room. Wifi worked on day one, then wouldn't load anything on the following days, for me and everyone else. The bad wifi and cigarette smoke bring it down to one star. Otherwise, I'd give it three.

The rooms could use better maintenance, but the receptionists were helpful. Stada hotel is a sister concern of Avee budget in, with better rates than nearby inns and lodges. It's conveniently set amid the busy market area. At the monthly rate I paid, I can't complain.

A nice, convenient stay, though you'll need to use the stairs if your room is on the second floor.

A good budget hotel for a short vacation or a longer student stay. It's opposite HUSM and Mydin, with watson, 7e, and lots of stalls nearby.
