Aston Boutec Hotel Lintas Plaza

I booked a queen room for about RM106 for one night after flooding at my home. The room was just okay and cleanliness was a 3/5. The toilet had stains on the bowl and wall tiles, and there was a smell. There's an electric kettle, but no hair dryer. The air conditioning worked well. The TV is basic, with no YouTube or Netflix. Staff were friendly and answered calls quickly, so five stars for their hospitality. Fine for a quick overnight stay.

The food options nearby are a real strength, and the staff were friendly. There isn't an elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up to level 3 is a challenge. During the day, the air conditioning wasn't cool enough in our room. I tried another room, but had the same problem. It was okay at night.

For under RM100, a decent room, clean sheets, and a satisfactory hot shower are enough for me. It seems smoking in the room is allowed, since there's an ashtray, which suits me as a smoker. You get what you pay for, so I don't have any harsh complaints.

The room and toilet were clean, and I found it comfortable for a few nights of rest. It's affordable, though the room may feel small to some. Be aware there's no lift, and the hotel has two floors, so heavy bags mean taking the stairs. The city centre is a few minutes away. There are plenty of conveniences nearby, including a 24-hour coffee shop for meals, and a Pick N Pay behind the hotel that's open very late.
