There are lots of food choices and bars nearby, a convenience store right next door, and plenty of parking if you bring a vehicle. My room was spacious, cozy, clean, and quiet, with the basic vanity items provided. It also had windows, which were nice in the morning when the bright sun came in.

I stayed one night so I could get to the airport early the next morning. The room was what I expected for the price, the hot water was hot enough, and reception was friendly. I liked being on the ground floor, with no stairs or lift to deal with, though there’s no wheelchair access at the entrance. I was fairly happy and would come back. The two downsides were no bidet by the toilet or mat for the bathroom, so you come out with wet feet, and loud music from somewhere nearby after 10pm, which could bother light sleepers.

I was stuck in the city during a flood, and the room was decent enough to stay in. What a wet day. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby, so finding food wasn’t a problem. My concern was the staff: I wish the night shift had been more cheerful and not taken a joke so seriously, and the morning shift had seemed less nervous around guests.

I was there with my kids while attending a program at State Library. Our room was near the stairs, so it was quite noisy, and we had to pay a RM10 deposit for the room key at check-in. The room was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful during our stay. Thank you for your service.
