KK Waterfront Hotel

We booked four nights but left after just 8 hours. We only stayed that long because our flight arrived early in the morning 🤨. The photos say enough 🤮. The pillows need decontaminating. When we left, we were told the company doesn’t give refunds!

Don’t stay here. The walls, floors and bathroom were extremely dirty, and there were bed bugs and live cockroaches everywhere in the room. Please see the pictures for reference. The room lock was broken when we arrived too. The location is close to the waterfront, but there are plenty of other hotels nearby.

Good value for the price, with shops, the Filipino market, and a shopping complex nearby. The hotel is basic and the staff are friendly. Just be aware the TV only gets one channel and there’s no fridge in the room.

The hotel is handy for the tourist spots, but I don't think I'd stay again. I was only there for one night before an early flight, and the evening turned into a run of problems. My first room had no window and made me feel nauseated. The toilet looked used, seemed unclean, and was stuck. I asked twice about moving and said I'd pay extra for an upgrade, but the hotel was full. Later, during the rain, the air conditioner kept tripping the room's main switch, and there was no fix. By chance, a room with a window opened up, so I changed rooms. The second room had its own issues: the front door lock and water tap were loose, the basin leaked, and the toilet flush was so forceful it splashed water out of the bowl. This was just my experience, and it may have been an unlucky evening. It doesn't mean other guests had the same stay.
