De Galleria Hotel

The location is the one thing I can praise, but the rest of the stay was disappointing. The room and walkway smelled, the bathroom was cramped and uncomfortable, and there was no hot shower. The hotel also looked nothing like its Agoda photos. Staff weren't helpful, even when we asked for a nearby place to eat. The price is affordable, but the quality is far too low. I won't stay here again.

The slow Wi-Fi and stale-feeling towels were a letdown, and there's no fridge. Still, this is one of the better mid-budget hotels in KK. The deluxe rooms are bright, clean, fairly quiet apart from the night market, and comfortable, with no traffic noise. The staff are friendly. I'd recommend it if those drawbacks don't bother you.

The staff's warm smiles whenever you come and go made being far from home feel nicer. The hotel is right in the town centre and not too far from the airport. It's affordable, and the compact room was comfortable and felt like home, with the kind of amenities you'd expect at a more expensive place.

We booked a deluxe family room with a double bed and an extra bed, but they wouldn't provide a blanket or comforter for that bed unless we paid RM25. Staff said management wouldn't change its decision. We felt charging for it was unethical, so we refused to pay. The next day I lost my temper with the stubborn staff. The management office wasn't even in the hotel, and they seemed not to care if we complained to anyone. This place is a sham.
