The location made getting around easy. Shopping centers, the ferry terminal, and the night market are nearby, and there’s a bus stop for the airport route. I used it to get back to KL cheaply. Budget restaurants stay open late, and on Sundays there’s a flea market in the square outside the entrance. I stayed three nights in a private room before the pandemic. I’d arrived late at night in a heavy rainstorm and took a taxi. Finding reception took some effort: it’s on the second floor of a multi-purpose building, and you need to walk around from the main street to reach it.
