I loved how clean and cozy the room was, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. The location is great, not too far from Gaya Street, though finding parking nearby can be difficult.

The restaurant was a little old, but clean, and the staff were friendly. There was no background music that night, which was the only downside. We booked the Christmas buffet at the early bird rate of rm75/pax (adult). The selection wasn’t huge, but there was enough: 5 main dishes, two choices of satay, 5 desserts, 2 choices of salads, and fruit. Everyone in my family thought the food was delicious, especially the beef stew and lamb chop. I’d be happy to come back for the food.

A reasonably priced stay, with restaurants within walking distance. The reception was polite, and friendly staff helped with my luggage. There’s even a water dispenser by the lift. I’d happily stay here again.

The location worked well for us, with plenty of places to eat nearby. The wet market and oceanfront seafood restaurants were about a 15-minute walk away. Reception also helped me plan the bus trip to Sandakan, and there’s a water dispenser in the lobby. We paid 300 MYR for a two-night promotion that included breakfast for two, which felt like great value. The room was small but clean, pleasant-smelling and comfortable, with a nice bathroom and everything working. The TV was a little old, but that wasn’t a big issue. Breakfast had both Asian and Western choices, handy for a mixed couple. Wi-Fi was good, and each room has its own connection. We were given two cards, one for the electricity and another regular key card, so we could charge devices while out.
