The one real plus was being near Jesselton Point. Everything else made our stay in KK miserable. We booked mainly for the washing machine, but it was faulty. I texted the PIC at 8pm and got no answer until I followed up at 2pm the next day. The reply was, “I don't know maybe something is wrong.” I asked for it to be fixed and for an update from maintenance since we might be leaving, but we ended up staying because the weather was bad. Nobody came to check the machine. Then the PIC suddenly texted that its motor was faulty, repair would take a month, and suggested a laundromat. Later messages and my refund request were ignored. There was also a blackish stain beside the bed. We were allowed into the unit to drop our bags before the previous tenant's cleaning, and when we returned after 3pm the bed had been made but the stain was still there. I sent a photo to the PIC and asked for fresh bedding, which cleaners changed about 30 minutes later. Horrible service from dishonest staff and PIC.

The owner was really helpful when my friends and I couldn't work out the electric stove and TV. We had a pleasant stay and would come back again.

The whole unit and both toilets had an awful smell that I can't really describe. In our level 18 two-bedroom place, we also had to share one air-conditioning remote between the two rooms, which was awkward when staying with an acquaintance. The toilet lights flickered when switched on. The rest of the photos can speak for themselves. I'm not coming back.

The sea and airplane views were amazing, and the admin replied quickly, though I had to keep asking for towels. The cleanliness was the big problem. The sofa, floor and bed were dirty and smelly, and if cleanliness matters to you, I'd choose a hotel instead. This is privately managed with no reception, and the key boxes outside were unlocked, at least when we were there. We arrived tired after a long trip and had to wait through three cleaning attempts because the place hadn't been cleaned after the last guest, and the second attempt wasn't clean either. They sent the cleaners back, leaving us to wait outside for two hours. Please pay more attention to the sofa, balcony floor and bed so the stay feels worth the money.
