Margo Hotel KK

It's convenient being near the mall, and the staff handled the basics adequately, though they could be friendlier and more welcoming. This is budget accommodation and much cheaper than other hotels near Imago, but parking isn't complimentary and can cost up to RM29 per day. The room was reasonably clean and generally acceptable, though noise carries through the walls. The bathroom still had visible stains and an unpleasant smell. Better cleaning and suitable products might remove the stubborn marks. The price is affordable, but parking is relatively expensive. It seems best for a short stay, especially if you're without a vehicle or only staying one night.

After a hospital procedure, I needed somewhere cheap and close to stay for a few nights. Being part of the Times Square development meant plenty of cafes, convenience stores, and places to eat nearby. My twin single room had very comfortable beds and a decent desk, and the wifi worked properly. I was happy with my stay.

My Queen Bed room with a city view felt well worth it. It was clean and nice, and even had a smart TV. The hotel is good value and close to the places I wanted to visit, including Imago Shopping Center, so I could shop whenever I had free time. Recommended for anyone trying a solo trip in KK.

It's a no frills hotel, handy if you're picking up a rental car from Imago. Beyond that, I wouldn't recommend it. The front entrance is open 24 hours and people can access all floors, so there's very little security.
