Monaco Boutique Hotel Kampung Air

The room had a bad smell, stained curtains, and a bathroom where water leaked. The broken shower head was being held with zip ties. The TV was supposedly “under maintenance,” but the dust on it made it look like it hadn't worked for months. I arrived at 2am, checked in, then couldn't open my room door. They put me in a room without a bathroom until the next day. At checkout they charged me 30 rm for a tiny stain on the bedsheet, even though a new sheet of the same low quality would cost no more than 10 rm. Worst hotel stay I've had. Avoid it, it's not worth the money.

I spent 3 days and 2 nights here without any water throughout the stay. When I asked staff, they said it was a government issue. The owner and staff should be more upfront about the water supply problem and improve their attitude. They kept quiet and didn't tell arriving guests until someone discovered there was no water. I don't recommend this hotel.

The room floor and toilets were dirty, and the room smelled of smoke. I regret staying here.

I waited almost 30 minutes, but reception still hadn't shown up. I rang the bell over and over and nobody came.
