The location is okay if you want to stay near the waterfront, and the room itself was okay, but the bedsheets felt kind of filthy and management should improve them. What really needs a lot of work is the service. The staff were rude, especially the uncle at reception. Hotel management should tell him not to take his personal troubles out on guests, if he has any. Yelling at customers isn’t cool. I paid over RM90 for a room that felt like a backpackers’ hostel you could get for RM30++. I won’t stay here again unless management improves the quality, and I don’t recommend it to anyone planning to stay in KK, especially at Segama.

The service was the worst, and there was no WiFi, complimentary breakfast, or lift. We had to fight cockroaches every day. Refer to the video.

I booked and paid for three nights through A*da apps, and got a confirmation, but the rude lady at reception said the hotel was already fully booked. She kept saying it wasn’t her business, and that they wouldn’t refund me or do anything. I was furious. I called customer service, but they couldn’t help beyond refunding what I’d paid. I ended up looking for somewhere else to stay late in the evening. Avoid booking this hotel through any apps.

The location is good, right in the city centre waterfront with food and shops accessible. It’s an old but clean hotel, and the price was reasonable at RM70 per night for two single beds. I had to climb two flights of stairs. There was no view, and the TV only had three local channels. The WiFi was too slow to browse, but the shower was really good, with strong water pressure and a water heater.
