The owner demanded three times the agreed price and was rude and hostile, apparently over a misunderstanding with her staff. The place itself was dirty, with rats in the bathroom and gum and hair in the beds. Easily the worst place I've stayed in months. Stay away for your own good.

I was glad to leave after just one night. The shower sprayed more water horizontally than down, and my towel, which I'd hung on the door, got as wet as I did. The towel they gave me was worn so thin it had five holes. The shared toilets were okay for the price, but there was no atmosphere in the lobby and no ground-floor toilets. At reception, they couldn't find my booking and didn't speak any English. It seemed they'd overbooked my room type, so I was “upgraded” to a double-bed room that looked like a prison. This hostel is an absolute disgrace.

The pod bed is clean and comfy, and the toilets stay clean too. Parking is easy to find. It's my favorite hostel in KK when I'm there with the kids. The staff are friendly, they offer a simple breakfast, and there's a living room where you can enjoy Netflix and chill.

Stayed just one night, and the cozy bed suited me as a solo traveler. The showers and washroom were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I truly recommend Skypod Hotel and will come back in the future. Thank you.

It's a quiet place and nice to stay in, with cheaper rates through Agoda. A bit far from Suria Sabah and Imago, though Grab is always around. They only take cash unless you book through Agoda.
