哥打京那巴鲁苏扎家庭旅馆(Suzahomestay Kota Kinabalu)

The house was nicely furnished, but poor maintenance made the stay disappointing. Kinabalu home stay has several locations; I stayed at No.3, Lorong Rimbunan Hijau 2, booked through AirBNB. The address didn't match the one on AirBnB, so double-check it when booking or checking in. When we arrived, the cleaners cleared leaves and such from the front porch. The house itself was dusty and dirty, like it had been empty for weeks or months, and should have been cleaned before we arrived. A cockroach ran out of the TV cabinet, which was full of droppings, and we saw a rat in the living room on the first night. After we complained, the place was cleaned the next day, which made it bearable. Furniture was broken throughout: standing lights with broken plugs in the living room, broken shower heads left in the bathroom, no heater in the master bedroom, and broken bathroom door locks. There were other small problems too, all pointing to maintenance. Two stars because the owner responded quickly by arranging a cleaning on day two.

A comfortable homestay with friendly people and good service. Thanks so much. I'd recommend it, especially if you're looking for somewhere close to UMS, since it's very near. The owner responds fast too.

Really pleased with the place. Comfortable, safe parking, and they respond quickly. Recommended.

Yes, this place is awesome and amazing, and cosy for a big family.
