The appartment at The Voyagers Home in KK was just right for us to relax and get ready for our trip around Malaysia. Step outside and you're in the busy city centre. Walk past the big post office and cross the main road, and there are lots of little restaurants and shops. Very convenient for tourists, and I can definitely recommend it to others.

The room was comfortable and clean, with excellent amenities and a gorgeous sunset view. Being next to a large shopping center made getting around for sightseeing and tours easy, and we felt safe there with our children. Ethan was kind and helpful throughout our four-night stay in August 2025. Before we arrived, he sent useful information about places to eat, tourist spots, and currency exchange in Kota Kinabalu, and he was always available if we needed help. He also introduced a friend who picked us up at the airport arrival gate and took us on a two-day tour planned around our family’s wishes. The price was reasonable, and we were very happy with the tour. Our family of four, including two elementary school-aged children, made wonderful memories here. Thanks so much, Ethan. We’d definitely like to come back!

The water purifier, massage chair, and washing machine were great to have, and they also supplied water, drinks, and snacks. Before we checked in, the host got in touch with restaurant and activity suggestions and let us leave our luggage early, which made things easier. The facilities, cleanliness, and service were all excellent. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

After hiking up Mount Kinabalu, we could relax in Kota Kinabalu and enjoy the sea. The guesthouse was lovely, with new facilities, a friendly owner, and beautiful sea views. The massage chairs were comfortable, and there was refreshing beer and cola too.
