Walk In Hotel

I stayed for two nights with a friend and would come back. The room is compact but has what you need. It's clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower has good pressure, and I liked being able to open the window for fresh air.

The rates are very affordable, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Centre Point and Filipino Market are within walking distance, with a 24-hour restaurant and a laundry nearby. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.

After 14 days of holiday and stays in more than five hotels, this was the best one for the value and the room itself. The room was the biggest of the five, clean, tidy, bright and cosy, and everything looked new. The lobby also made a good first impression: spacious and nice to look at, with simple, pleasant CNY decorations. The location is hard to beat for this price. Centre Point is a five-minute walk away, Gaya street is just behind, the Philippines market is across the street, and there are plenty of shops around. Only a resort would be better placed. The main issue was the strong washroom smell. The room hadn't been aired out properly, and keeping the bathroom door closed would make a big difference. My comments are based on the rate we paid. At RM300 a night, I'd judge it differently. I'd stay again if I visit KK.

We had a nice, clean hotel room with plenty of space, a good shower, great amenities and really friendly service. But an extremely loud disco, club or bar has opened next door, and it made our two-night stay miserable. The bass was turned all the way up on both Sunday and Monday nights. From around 21:00 until 03:00, it shook the beds and the vibrations were felt in our chests. I'd only seen two other reviews mention it, so I assume it's a recent problem. We didn't give the hotel a chance to fix it because we were there for only two nights. After the first night, we thought the second couldn't be as bad, but we were wrong. Honestly, I don't think the hotel could have done much anyway, since you could hear the bass even in the lobby.
