For RM 98, at least clean sheets and a bathroom door knob should be basic. I’ve stayed in budget hotels for under RM 70 that provided those. Here, the sheets had stains, including blue dye and what looked like dried blood. There was no soap or towel, and no hairdryer or complimentary coffee or tea. The bathroom knob was missing, the TV wouldn’t turn on, and without a remote I couldn’t adjust the AC temperature or mode. The lift was under maintenance, or possibly broken, so we had to take the stairs. Free wifi was listed, but we didn’t try it. I also didn’t feel safe unloading in the dark because the parking area had no street lights. Two stars for my stay last night. Hopefully they provide the basics next time.

The rooms are really spacious and the people are nice. The hotel isn’t in the city itself, but there’s a supermarket, convenience store and good food across the road.

We booked three rooms for a one night stay because the hotel is near KDCA for the kaamatan festival. We got just one towel in each room. I came with my husband, so we could share, but what if I’d come with friends? Even a budget hotel should provide the basics. I’ve stayed in other budget places that were much better. Management should review the service, and I’d avoid this place.

The room was comfortable and tidy, and the customer service was good. There’s a lift for guests, and you can ask for a hairdryer if you need one. The toilet door knob was faulty and should be fixed before the next guest arrives. There was only one mirror in the shower room, so another mirror in the room for getting dressed would be helpful.
