The resort has a quaint, charming feel and is quieter than the busier, more popular resort nearby. We stayed 3 days and 2 nights as a family of six, and the spacious rooms we booked were next to each other, which was convenient. The place could use a facelift, and its looks aren’t its strongest point, but it was still comfortable and all the amenities worked well. The friendly, warm service made the stay pleasant and enjoyable.

The staff were friendly and helped me sort out a maintenance issue. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the peaceful beachside setting came with great sea views. It’s an affordable hotel right by the beach. Even with a few signs of age, I was really satisfied with my stay.

The sliding door at the back was a great feature. It brought in loads of natural light and made the already impressively large room feel even more spacious. I really enjoyed staying here, and it was just right for a relaxing getaway in Desaru.

The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and our room was clean and well kept. The facilities were good for families and couples alike. It was a comfortable, relaxing place to unwind, and we had a nice experience. I’d recommend it for a short getaway.

Tunamaya Desaru is worth a stay if you’re looking for somewhere calm and peaceful. It’s right by the beach, so it was easy to take a relaxing walk and enjoy the surroundings. The room felt a bit dated and somewhat spooky at night, though it was still very comfortable. I had a bad experience at the seafood restaurant, but Mr Ramlan and the front desk staff helped me with my unhappiness that evening and handled it professionally. I’d like to thank them sincerely for their service.
