Arina`s Homestay

The owners were super friendly and helpful, and my room was nice, clean, and had air conditioning. They drove me to the jetty for 15 Ringit so I could go to perhentian islands. At 80 Ringit a night, it felt quite expensive compared with the rest of Malaysia. I don't really recommend the islands. Things there are extremely overpriced and very low quality. There are lots of thieves, and someone even stole my swimming pants from the line in front of my bungalow/shack, so watch your belongings carefully. The coral can be nice, but that depends on luck and good visibility. In Mid April 2018, visibility was often only around 5 meters.

Great location, close to restaurants, with a calm and safe feel and a parking spot inside the gate. The service was friendly and easy, and the room was clean. There was no hot shower. For such a low price, though, it was very good. I've stayed in much worse hotels for a lot more.

In Kg Pengkalan Nyireh Kg Raja besut, about 45 minutes from kota bharu airport, this homestay is near the main road and lots of restaurants. I was very satisfied with the big room, AC, clean toilet, and everything else. It's a good place to stay before heading to Perhentian island, and you can book a boat ticket here. The owner can also be contacted about a chalet or room on Perhentian Island, since they have a challet there too. Families can stay here and visit Bukit keluang beach. I'm satisfied and will come back.

A comfortable, nice place with good, friendly service. The parking area is surrounded by multicolor flowers. It's close to the jetty for anyone planning to go to pulau perhentian. #recommended 👍
