U Design Hotel Kuala Lipis

Please replace the rude woman at the counter. She treats all the customers rudely. People stay here because there aren't enough accommodation options in the area, so please don't disappoint us with this staff member. My review will stay at the lowest rating across all platforms until the rude counter staff is changed. I'll ban this hotel forever.

We had enough room for prayer, and the room was spacious enough for me, my husband and our two kids despite having no window. It was clean, with no odd smell, and the pillowcases and sheets were clean too. The toilet was spacious, and the hot shower had good pressure. We were happy with the stay. One possible improvement: offer soap and shampoo in small bottles instead of using a wall-mounted dispenser. Thank you!

There wasn't any water in the room. I paid RM145.10 for a room with one queen bed, no breakfast and no mineral water, which felt expensive to me. The air con was on slow mode and I only felt it getting cold after six hours.

Right in the town centre, so groceries, snacks, amenities and other things are easy to get. The main road next to the hotel does make it a bit noisy. I hope they might add a portable slide outside for wheelchair users. Still, I think it's a great hotel for the price.
