2+1br Executive Apartment in Bukit Bintang

We paid over RM400 for one night, but after hours of trying to get the air conditioning fixed, the only help offered was a fan. We couldn’t sleep comfortably and ended up pushing two sofas together in the living area. I wouldn’t recommend this property based on our experience, and the stay did not feel worth the price. We checked in around 6:50 PM on 30 May 2026 and noticed straight away that the room wasn’t cooling properly. We waited at first, thinking it might just need time. At about 8:00 PM we told the front desk. When we came back around 10:00 PM, nothing had changed, so we reported it again. After waiting for several more hours, we went back to the desk at around 1:00 AM. They let us look at Rooms 1407, 2207, and 2307 as alternatives, but the air conditioning had the same problem in all of them. A technician came to our room around 2:00 AM and confirmed the issue, but couldn’t repair it. We couldn’t rest properly until about 3:00 AM. The night duty staff told us the room’s air-conditioning problem had been reported before. If that was accurate, it’s disappointing that guests were still assigned the room. At checkout, I asked about compensation and was told the hotel couldn’t offer a refund because we had booked through Agoda. I emailed a formal complaint on 2 June 2026, then followed up on WhatsApp on 4 June 2026. I got no response, explanation, follow-up, or proposed solution. My WhatsApp message was read but left unanswered. In Malaysia’s climate, working air conditioning is a basic expectation. The long wait, lack of sleep, and silence after my complaint made this a very disappointing stay.

We had a very spacious apartment with two bedrooms, three bathrooms, an office area, a washing machine, and a complete kitchen. It’s within walking distance of kl tower, and the service and hospitality deserve five stars. Highly recommended.

Being close enough to walk to Bukit Bingtag was the main plus for me. The rest left me with enough problems that I wouldn’t return. There were no working safes in the rooms, and the bedroom ACs needed repairs at 10 pm just as we wanted to sleep. The next day the washing machine was broken, which mattered because we chose an apartment so we wouldn’t have to bring so many clothes. We were told it had been repaired, but it still didn’t work. They eventually replaced it, and things were fine after that. Drinking water was provided only once during the whole stay, so we had to buy it from the vending machines. Watch out for the machine on the lower level, it doesn’t return your change and there’s no notice about that. The 33" TV had no English or international channels either. I’d avoid this place.

The room felt old, dusty, and almost haunted. I didn’t really use it, and wanted to check out after an hour, but they said the amount couldn’t be refunded. The air conditioning started acting up after about 30 minutes, and I called reception more than four times. There was a scary noise and a short circuit. A technician came and refilled the gas for 15 minutes, but the room was still hot. I didn’t use the water or check the bed condition, and didn’t use anything else besides the air conditioning and sofa. After I spoke calmly with the staff, someone told me there had been a case on level 8 the previous week.
