I liked the interior design of the fairly new one-bedroom unit at Agile Delima Bukit Bintang, and it suited my taste. Getting around from there was easy too. I stayed for four nights, and the comfort and location were acceptable. There were cleanliness problems, though. The floor felt a little sticky. After I told customer service, they left a mop outside the door instead of arranging a cleaning, which left me wondering if I was meant to mop it myself. I also saw small cockroaches in the unit from time to time. One got into my luggage and came home with me to Singapore, which was unpleasant. I hope management deals with these hygiene issues for future guests.
The lifts were packed, hot, and poorly ventilated. We saw plenty of other guests getting openly frustrated, and had to wait 30-40 minutes several times just to get down to the lobby. If you care about your time and patience, think twice before booking. Our first night brought another serious problem: the air conditioner began leaking a lot of water in the middle of the night, so we put a pail underneath to stop it spreading across the room. Staff came the next morning half an hour late, after we'd waited until nearly noon and missed breakfast. They made a video call, said they couldn't do anything at the moment, and left. Our time was wasted, and when we came back later the pail was nearly full. The leak was still unresolved. We'd booked through Trip.com a week ahead, but at the last minute we were told the room wasn't ready and our booking had to be cancelled. We barely had time to make other arrangements. Only after a long argument did they find us another unit in the same building. A confirmed booking shouldn't be handled that way. The unit we were meant to stay in was Block C #43-13A. We've stayed in KL before, and this was the worst experience yet.
There are only six elevators for a 600-unit building, and three were out of order today. After waiting 20 minutes, I had to take the stairs down from the 14th floor with two suitcases. I'd avoid blocks C and B for these reasons.
The pool water was dirty too, and getting a lift every time we went out became stressful. It took 20-30 minutes, and once I saw two older people waiting 25 minutes while carrying a heavy bag. With more than 50 floors, there were only one or two working lifts. If you're coming to KL for a lift trip, maybe this is the place for you. For us, staying here was a terrible, hellish experience.
The pools all closed suddenly, with no proper explanation. For what residents pay, this place is nowhere near condominium standard, and the management is extremely frustrating. The lifts are painfully slow, and one is always breaking down. I waited 10-15 minutes just to get downstairs, and often the lift passed my floor even though it was going down. A functioning lift system shouldn't be this hard to manage. Taxi and Grab pickups and drop-offs aren't allowed in, even in heavy rain. Security seems to decide randomly which vehicles to let through, even when some are clearly legitimate taxis. Overall, it feels very poorly managed.
