The birthday hi-tea at Arte by Thomas felt extra romantic, partly because we went just after Christmas and the decorations were still up. The place looked beautiful and cozy, which made the celebration feel special. The team were professional, attentive, and friendly, and made us feel comfortable and welcome the whole time. The desserts were gorgeous and tasty. I especially remember the rich Chocolate Rocher and the crispy, creamy Wild Mushroom Arancini, both full of flavor. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to visit again for another special occasion. ❤️✨💕

Ronaldo’s warm service really stayed with us. He showed us around the restaurant, then took lots of photos with such good timing and composition. The pictures moved us, and he helped us make memories we couldn’t have captured on our own. Thank you, Ronaldo. We came for lunch, and the food was delicious. The view from the 66th floor was stunning too. We’d definitely come back when we visit Malaysia.

We chose Arté by Thomas Chan for a road trip after seeing its striking exterior and hearing the buzz on TikTok. At Level 66, Tower 2, Arte Mont Kiara, it’s the tallest hotel in this cosmopolitan area, with shopping, dining, and MITEC within easy reach. The concept mixes French opulence and modern creativity, with baroque columns, frescos, and Parisian inspired interiors. It aims for a romantic French getaway feel. The ground floor lobby serves the residences, so we went up to the hotel lobby on level 66. The reception was beautifully decorated, and the personal welcome message on the television was a nice touch. Our Louis VIII Room matched the opulent look. The decor was fantastic, the room was neat and well appointed, the bathroom spotless, and there was a generous supply of high quality toiletries. Breakfast was served in a posh restaurant, with American and local options and a decent selection. You have to book one of three time slots: 7,00-8,00, 8,15-9,15, or 9,30-10,30. That might not suit everyone, though it did make for a relaxed meal. Afterwards, Kitty and I explored and took photos of the interiors and pools. There are two pools, a sky pool on the residence Roof level and another on level 32. We used the level 32 one because it was easy to reach. Its condition wasn’t quite as advertised, but it was pleasant for a dip. We also found the Gym on Level 59, and parking on levels CP1 and CP2. The lifts were fast, taking us to our room on the 56th floor. The hotel occupies levels 56-66, with Arte Residences on the lower floors. Around the building, a cafe, restaurant, and convenience stores are available, but there isn’t much dining or shopping nearby yet, so Grab is needed for transport and food. There’s a lot of construction, and the area may become a busier destination in future. For now, the hotel has its own distinctive atmosphere.

The airconditioning was loud at night, and getting parking information before arrival was confusing. I messaged them through booking.com that morning and got no reply. I ended up finding the instructions in reviews: park at CP1, take the elevator to G, then change elevators to floor 66 for reception. I loved how much thought went into the design. Every spot, even the toilets by the breakfast and lobby area, had those over-the-top colors, curls, and pictures. The room view was amazing, the beds really soft, the shower just right, and everything clean. Big breakfast too.
