The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. I also appreciated not having to pay a deposit. The air conditioner worked well, and the room was generally clean, though I did spot some baby cockroaches. The hotel should improve pest control and cleanliness. Around midnight, I came down to the lobby and saw the security guard asleep at the table, which didn't make me feel secure. The surrounding area also has quite a number of homeless individuals, so women may want to be extra careful when going out at night. My stay was okay mainly because of the kind staff, but security needs attention too. I stayed here in febuary 2026.

Big M Hotel is a good option if you want to avoid a busy area like Bukit Bintang. I stayed four nights. The room was nice and clean, though it didn't have a fridge, and you can use the iron in the hallway. I still can't get used to their shower kkkkkk. Masjid Jamek LRT is just across the street, and you can walk to Masjid Jamek, River of Life, daratan merdeka, and petaling street. It's easy to get to KL Sentral and Pasar Seni too. If you get hungry, turn right twice and there's 24h nasi kandar!

The staff were lovely, always greeting us with a smile, and the location made our 4D3N stay easy. Public transport, food outlets, mosques including Masjid Jamek, tourist spots, and Haniffa Dept Store are all very close.

I came back after returning to Kuala Lumpur, and they even kept my trolley for a week. Service is really good and the location is nice. The Chinese girl on night duty was especially kind. Rooms with windows can be a bit noisy because of the nearby metro. I worried the windowless rooms might have mold, but they didn't. I'd suggest a windowless room if you want more peace and quiet. There was a 50 RM deposit, and I paid another 60 RM for early check-in on my first day after arriving at 6 am on a red-eye flight.
