Platinum Suites by Saba Suites

The ground staff seemed to be working hard, and I don’t blame them, but management really needs to fix the way this place is run. It wasn’t worth the hassle, and I’d suggest staying somewhere else. We asked about early check-in by WhatsApp at 8am, well ahead of time. No clear answer came through, and even when we arrived at 2pm there was still no straight response. Staff could only be reached by message and replies were slow. There was no early check-in available, which would have been fine if the rest had gone smoothly. Instead, we were sent to the wrong room, so my elderly father had to climb the stairs to level 32, luckily just one floor up. The correct room wasn’t cleaned or ready either, and we had to go back down. The lifts were painfully slow. We waited almost 30 minutes for one to reach level 31, and it was full when it came. The washing machine didn’t work. They provided just one keycard for the lift, parking, and room door, so everyone has to leave together unless someone wants to be stuck inside.

We really enjoyed the food at Deepblue restaurant, and the staff were attentive, prompt, and professional. The hotel is handy for major shopping malls, with some local places to eat just a short walk away. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The infinity pool was amazing, with stunning views of Kuala Lumpur. It’s an impressive hotel.

The surroundings and views at the hotel were lovely, and we had a pleasant stay. Saba suites were kind enough to let us check in 30 minutes early.

We couldn’t check in. For hours, all we were told was “wait a minute.” After we cancelled, the quickest reply was “We are sorry.”
