Central City Hotel @ Chinatown Kuala Lumpur

Chinatown is a must-see, and it’s easy to get there from this hotel. The neighborhood is lively, with clubs and bars, and there’s plenty around to keep you entertained. A laundromat is right downstairs, along with convenience stores and a pharmacy. Metro stations and frequent bus routes are nearby, and you can book a grab through the app. The staff are very friendly and make your comfort a priority. I’d definitely recommend the place. The air conditioning leaked during our stay. We told reception, and the receptionist acknowledged it but spoke to us quite rudely. Nothing was fixed when we returned to the room, and the leak continued until we left. It was a nightmare. The room was tiny, dirty, and nothing like the photos online, and the bathroom was in terrible shape. I honestly can’t see why this place has three stars. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Central City Hotel is in a handy spot on Jalan Pudu, with food places, public transport, and local attractions easy to reach. Right in the heart of Chinatown, Kuala Lumpur, it’s convenient for getting around and enjoying the city. For the price, the room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout. A good-value choice if convenience and comfort matter.

The street noise was extremely loud, and I could hear everything happening in the next room through the thin walls. I barely slept. I told the hotel about it and asked to move rooms, but they didn’t care about my request, so I was stuck in the same room for all my nights. The service was just as bad. The Indian staff member at the front desk didn’t look at me once while I was speaking and seemed not to care about anything I said. His manner was rude and unprofessional, and honestly unacceptable.
