Ceylonz KLCC by Perfect Host

The room didn't match what Agoda advertised, and the host wasn't helpful when I raised the problems. There was no hot plate or cooking equipment for light cooking, even though those were listed. The room also had a double bed instead of the advertised queen. On top of that, the AC buzzed constantly, making it hard to sleep. They said they couldn't check it that day and told us to switch it off, but then the room got too hot. Agoda wasn't helping with the bed issue either. A terrible stay. I hope this helps others avoid the place.

The room had cockroaches, a broken water dispenser and microwave, and housekeeping came only once during my 9-day stay. We were given just one key card for two people, and they refused to issue another, which made it impossible for one of us to stay in while the other went out. Maybe manageable for a night or two, but unreasonable for a longer visit. I also had trouble over a lost key card. I accidentally misplaced the cards, and they tried to charge 200 MYR, although the elevator notice said 100 MYR. I had to push back to avoid being charged double. On departure night I bought a new suitcase because I had too many bags, then paid to store it with the hotel. When I returned, it was broken. Staff passed me around and denied responsibility. Paying for storage wasn't my concern, but I expected them to look after my things. I've used free baggage storage at hotels in Kuala Lumpur without this happening. This was a very bad experience at CEYLON SUITES KLCC KUALA LUMPUR. I found them dishonest, unreliable, and poorly managed, and hope this helps others avoid the same situation. Think twice before booking.

BAD MANAGEMENT. The toilet smelled awful, and the room was in terrible shape, with damage visible throughout. The appliances didn't even seem to fit the sockets. Staff barely did the minimum. I'd avoid this place.

The view is great and the room can be quite nice, but the experience varied a lot between my two visits, which I guess can happen with an AirBnB place. The first time, the room facilities were excellent. On my second visit, the WiFi kept failing. I went down to the lobby three times to get it fixed, and it happened again later. I had WiFi problems on 3 of the 10 days, though thankfully they fixed it faster after that first time. Getting to public transport takes more effort than it looks. The greenline seems nearby, but reaching it is pretty much a hike. The red one is possible too, with even more walking.
