Chambers Residence by Manhattan Group

I stayed at Chambers Residences from September 21-25, 2025. The Signature Studio I received was clean, comfortable, and had what I needed as a solo traveler. Chowkit was an accessible location, and I've been back before because the place has usually been good value. This time, though, a kiosk error booked and charged me $180.50 for a Premium 2-Bedroom Apartment instead of the $95 Signature Studio I chose. Staff, including Gavin and Edo, moved me into the right room and said I would get an $85.50 refund at checkout. I've followed up in person several times, sent a WhatsApp message on October 3 and an email to management, and called the on site property manager. I've had no reply and no refund. It's disappointing after an otherwise positive stay. I hope management sorts it out soon. I attached photos of the studio and booking details to clarify what happened.

For the price, this is a nice place close to the city. From the room you can see Malaysia's tall buildings. A train station nearby makes it easy to get to the market, supermarket, and shops.

The rooftop pool felt safe and had an amazing view, and we made good use of the gym too. There are lots of food options nearby, with the mall just a short walk away. Thanks to the staff for a great stay!

My friends went down to the lobby to collect food they'd ordered through Grab, but after 40 minutes I still hadn't heard from them and couldn't reach them by phone. They'd been trapped in the elevator on the 13th floor. It had stopped between levels, and security had to pull them out. It was a horror memory from our holiday, like a scene in a movie. When we asked the hotel for compensation, they said it was security's responsibility and didn't even apologize. It felt like our lives didn't matter to them. I think they wouldn't have cared if something had happened to my friends. Now my friends are scared to use elevators.
