Citi Hotel @Kl Sentral

The Wi-Fi was stable and fast enough for normal use, including standard-definition streaming. Both rooms I stayed in had working air-conditioning, and the showers were hot with decent pressure. The hotel is centrally located among lots of budget places near KL Sentral. The rooms were clean and tidy, though the cheaper ones are a bit small. If you want more space, it’s worth paying extra for a larger room.

For a budget hotel, the location is good, the Wi-Fi is fast, and the AC works. It was mostly clean, and I didn't find bed bugs. But there were no disposable items, and the towels were really worn, like white ones that have faded to grey. The look of the place was pretty bad too, nothing like the Agoda pictures.

The room itself was a letdown. It looked worn, there was visible fungal growth on the wall beside the bed, and that made it unpleasant and uncomfortable to sleep in. The towels looked yellowish and not very clean either. Citi Hotel has a great, convenient location for getting around the city, and the price is affordable for a budget traveler. But the rooms need better maintenance and cleaning.

My reservation was cancelled at 7 PM, even though I'd told them I planned to arrive at 9 PM. They gave no reason. It seems like they may have sold the room to someone who was there in person. That was highly unprofessional, and I don't trust this place. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
