The location was handy, within walking distance of lots of shopping, and staff replied to my questions quickly. The room size was reasonable, but the air-conditioning was weak. We got only two tiny bottles of shampoo for our two-night stay, no bathing liquid, and no daily housekeeping. The lifts were the biggest hassle. I think there were only about five serving more than 40 floors, so there were queues at check-in and checkout, in the evening, and when guests returned from outings. The sauna in the public area was also under maintenance. I’d booked mainly because I wanted a sauna after touring KL, so I wouldn’t book here again.

The location is excellent, and you can use the same facilities as the sleeping lion, including the gym and pool. It’s a service apartment, so check-in and checkout might not be as flexible as at a hotel, though it wasn’t a problem for me and the guy checking me in was fine. The room was large, the AC was cool, and cleanliness was standard. The bed linen and cover could be better.

Room 22-01 was small, which I could have accepted, but it smelled odd, the floor felt sticky, and the sheets didn’t seem clean. Two nights cost far too much for that. Parking was $50 a day, so $100 for two nights, plus a $200 deposit for a stay this bad. I deeply regret booking and would cancel if it weren’t non-refundable. Worst booking I’ve made, and I’ll never stay here again.

I booked a three-bedroom apartment for eight adults for two nights, checking in on 17 july 25. The receptionist wasn’t helpful and said the website booking covered only two adults, then asked for another RM 600. It doesn’t make sense that just two adults would book a three-bedroom apartment. At checkout I asked if they could hold my bags for a few hours, and he wanted another RM 50. Think carefully before booking this apartment.
