D'Majestic Place by Widebed

We booked two rooms. One was excellent and exactly what we expected; the other had a slight unpleasant smell of uncertain source. It was manageable, and we bought a room freshener for comfort. It didn't really affect our stay. The location is strategic, near hawker stalls and within walking distance of the monorail, which made exploring the city easy. The rooftop bar and pool had a nice atmosphere and were great for unwinding. We told staff a day before checkout that we needed to leave early. As it was outside their usual working hours, there was an extra RM50 charge. They explained it clearly and handled it professionally, and our deposit was fully refunded without trouble. Despite the minor smell, the stay was smooth and enjoyable. A good choice for the location and facilities.

The room was spacious and had a good view, though not the best I've had. One room had no working hot water. Reception staff were okay during check-in but not very helpful, and the pool staff were rude. I'll definitely stay somewhere else next time.

The rooftop pool has an amazing view across the city, which is only a 15-minute walk away. I stayed four days and had a great experience. The staff were kind, welcoming, and very responsive. I'd definitely recommend it.

The room didn't match what we'd booked and had no bathtub. The sheets were dusty, damp, and smelled bad, leaving us dealing with allergies all night. With a baby, that made things even worse. The building felt old and worn, and the TV was called a 'Smart TV' but didn't work. They even fined us RM50 for a small sheet stain. We didn't ask to change rooms despite the problems, but checkout was the last straw. A terrible experience, and we won't return. Check reviews before booking.
