I called twice to confirm that the room would cost RM220 nett, with check-in and no extra charges. I also asked for the agreement in WhatsApp in black and white, but they said a phone call was enough. When I arrived, they added RM150 without telling me beforehand. That felt unfair. Clear, honest communication is basic service, and I hope management takes this seriously and improves.

Ms Anne gave us a warm welcome, and Mr Timmy was cheerful throughout. Everyone’s kindness, professionalism and personal touch made us feel valued and made the stay unforgettable at Damas Suites & Residences. The people behind the stay mattered more to us than the room or facilities. The housekeeping gentleman, whose name I didn’t get, was easily the politest and most respectful housekeeping staff member I’ve met. That means a lot coming from someone who lives in Langkawi, a well-known tourism island with plenty of hotels and resorts. Thank you for the exceptional hospitality. We left with full hearts and every intention of coming back.

This was our third visit to the Damas, and we loved our stay again. It’s in a peaceful location, the staff are great, and the rooms have all we need, including a kitchenette. We wouldn’t stay at another hotel.
