Eaton Apartment in Kuala Lumpur has some lovely spots open to the public, with plenty of places for photos. The 51st-floor infinity pool and rooftop viewing table give you a sweeping view of the City A skyline, and the pool looks especially good at night. A swimsuit is required in the water, or you may be fined. Evening through nighttime is the best time for photos, when the light is at its prettiest. On the 50th floor, the gym lets you work out while looking over the city, and there’s also a game house with a pool table. From there you can see three major Kuala Lumpur landmarks together: Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Tower KL Tower, and TRX Building Exchange 106. The 33A Sky Garden mixes greenery with views of the twin towers, especially around sunset, making it a great photo spot. The 8th-floor children’s leisure area has a rest space and play area for families with babies, including seesaws and fitness equipment. On a sunny afternoon, relaxing there with family is a little luxury. Photo scores: three stars for the children’s area, four for the Sky Garden, and five each for the 50th-floor gym and game house, and the rooftop.
The unit was comfortable, clean, and well kept, with basic toiletries provided. The pool has tight entry rules, one access card per person, and cards can’t be shared. Lifts can also take a long time, especially at busy hours. Check-in and check-out are very strict about the set times, and guests must take their rubbish to the rubbish chute when leaving. Before the stay, we had to transfer a RM500 security deposit by bank transfer. It wasn’t refunded when we checked out; we were told it would take 5-10 working days. Two days later it still hadn’t arrived. When we followed up, we got a general answer that another management team handles refunds, with little clarity or accountability about the timing.
The pool was a highlight, a lovely place with a breathtaking view. I had a wonderful three-day stay in Malaysia, with clean, comfortable rooms and everything beautifully maintained. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. I hope to return soon!
The apartment was a great place to unwind once you got upstairs, though holiday periods can mean busy elevators. It’s good value compared with the many apartments we’ve tried, and the building management and short-term rentals seem to have a mutual understanding. Don’t expect extra add-on services, just the basics. There are some of the best views of KLCC Twin Towers, and the apartment is spacious with a well-designed kitchen. The laundry room, toilets, lighting, and AC all seem designed with the user in mind.
The three main bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the large fridge in the living area was the reason I chose this apartment, since I needed somewhere suitable to store breast milk. There’s an electric stove, an oven and microwave, plus a washing machine in the living room. We booked four rooms for four nights, but one is so tiny, with two small beds, that it felt more like a three-bedroom place. They don’t clean during the stay, and tissues and towels are replaced on day three. The gym and infinity pool get crowded, though they’re worth trying. One frustrating thing: security wouldn’t let me sit on the couch on level G because it was “for owners,” and told me to sit outside in the smoke, even after seeing me with my tiny baby.
